Spencer Beasley is a specialist paediatric surgeon and paediatric urologist who worked at
the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne for 13 years before coming to Christchurch in 1996. He has a special interest in inguino-scrotal conditions and urology, and
provides an outreach service to 6 South Island centres.
He is also
Clinical Professor of Paediatrics and Surgery at the University of Otago. |

Philip Morrison graduated at St Bartholomew's Hospital, University of London.
He trained in Paediatrics in Dunedin and King's College Hospital, London.
Since 1981 he has been a General Paediatrician at Timaru Hospital, and he also
practises in Ashburton.
As a General Paediatrician he has a wide ranging interest in all aspects of child
health problems. |

Kiki
Maoate is a specialist paediatric surgeon and paediatric urologist. He completed his paediatric urological and general surgical post-fellowship training at Melbourne's Royal Children's Hospital.
His special interests are upper gastro-intestinal disorders and hypospadias surgery. He is skilled in laparoscopic techniques. Kiki provides an outreach service to 6 South Island centres. |

Paul
Shillito graduated from Cambridge University in 1984. He trained in Brisbane
and the UK in general paediatrics before engaging in neurology training and research in Oxford. He also studied in Glasgow and Sydney. Paul works as a Child & Adolescent Neurologist in Christchurch Hospital and throughout the South Island, having expertise in the management of seizures, headache, learning disability and developmental delay. |

Colin is a specialist Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist. He completed his advanced training at the Red Cross Children's Hospital, Cape Town, South Africa, before moving to Christchurch in 1994. He also provides outreach services in Tauranga, Timaru and Invercargill.
Colin has a special interest in ADHD, adolescent depression and pervasive developmental disorders.

Antony is an eye surgeon trained in paediatric ophthalmology and the treatment of strabismus. He has worked as an Ophthalmologist in Christchurch since 2005, and undertook a years' fellowship in eye surgery for paediatrics at the Royal Children's Hospital in Brisbane, Australia.
He has extensive experience in managing all childhood eye problems and provides outreach services to other south island centres.

Tony Walls is an Infectious Diseases Specialist and General Paediatrician. He trained in London at Great Ormond Street Hospital in both Infectious Diseases and Immunology and until recently worked as a Paediatrician at Sydney Children's Hospital. He is now a Senior Lecturer at the University of Otago, Christchurch.
Tony has expertise in managing children with recurrent or unusual infections. He is able to give expert advice on immunisations and manage a wide range of child health problems, including allergies.

Kate Gibson is a Clinical Geneticist and Paediatrician. After training in Paediatrics and Genetics in the UK, NZ and Australia, Kate spent 7 years as a Specialist in Australia before returning to Christchurch in 2010. She currently holds a post as a Clinical Geneticist in the South Island hub of GHSNZ, the national Clinical Genetics Service.
At the Children's Specialist Centre, Kate is able to see children and adults with, or at risk of, genetic disorders.

Fiona Leighton is a paediatric dietitian who has many years experience in New Zealand and UK. She can provide advice for parents with picky or restricted eating as she is trained as a Sensory Oral Sequential Practitioner.
Practical advice can be given on early weaning and first foods introduction. In addition to advise on managing coeliac disease, food allergy, faltering or slow growth, constipation, irritable bowel syndrome, weight management and nutritional assessment.

Lee Hector-Taylor is a Clinical Psychologist who specialises in working with children,
adolescents. She completed her training at the University of Canterbury in 2006. She
then worked for a number of years for the CDHB's Child/Adolescent Mental Health
Service. Lee provides psychology assessments and treatments for a wide range of challenges with
behaviour, emotion, and learning.

These include anxiety, depression, anger, social
difficulty and ASD, sleep, eating, toileting, intellectual, adjustment. She believes that
every child/youth needs independent coping skills, a supportive school environment, and
strong family relationships. She teaches skills like cognitive-behavioural (CBT),
mindfulness and positive parenting strategies, to help clients reach their goals.
