Seonaid can offer psychological assessment and treatment for children and adolescents at Children’s Specialist Centre, Christchurch.
Seonaid is a Registered Psychologist Christchurch who completed her training at the University of Canterbury. She chose to study through the Child and Family Psychology programme because of her special interest in working with children, adolescents and families. Psychologists from the Child and Family Psychology programme are trained in comprehensive assessments, the use of evidence-based intervention and the importance of considering the whole family as well as the developmental stage of the child.
Seonaid can offer psychological assessment and treatment for children and adolescents with issues such as anxiety, low mood, OCD, tics/Tourettes, eating disorders, sleep, emotion regulation, and challenging behaviour, as well as offering parenting support and guidance. She values a collaborative approach and working creatively with families.
Seonaid has a number of years of experience working with children and families in the Specialist Mental Health Service, Te Whatu Ora (previously CDHB).
